Martha Stewart didn't hold back when it came to discussing her marriage to Andy Stewart in her Netflix documentary, “Martha.” In the documentary, the businesswoman said that she and Andy were unfaithful to each other throughout their nearly 30-year marriage.
She revealed that her first indiscretion occurred during their five-month honeymoon when she kissed a stranger while visiting Florence's Duomo Cathedral without her husband.
“It was a very romantic place, crowded with tourists, and I met this very handsome man,” she recalled. “He didn't know I was married. I was that homeless girl hanging out in the cathedral on Easter Eve. It was emotional. I was emotional. “It's just because it was an emotional place.”
“It wasn't like anything I'd ever done before,” she explained, but she did not view the encounter with the stranger as a “betrayal of Andrew,” instead describing it as “exciting” and “emotional.”

When discussing her marriage further, Martha said that Andy “wasn't happy at home” and had many affairs during their marriage.
“I don't know how many different girlfriends he had during that time, but I think there were a fair number of them… Young women, listen to my advice, if you're married and your husband starts cheating on you, he's a piece of money.” She said. “Get out of this marriage. But I couldn't do that. I couldn't walk away.”
Pressed by producers on the subject of infidelity, Martha admitted to a “very brief affair with a very attractive Irish man” but claimed it was “nothing”.

“It was nothing. In terms of — it could never break up the marriage. I would never break up a marriage over that,” she said. “Nothing. It was like a kiss in a cathedral.”

“I got away with murder,” Bon Jovi told Michael Strahan in an exclusive interview he filmed for ABC. “I'm a rock 'n' roll star, not a saint. You know, I'm not saying there haven't been 100 girls in my life — I'm Jon Bon Jovi. It's been pretty good.”
When the couple tied the knot, Bon Jovi was publicly known as a sex symbol, but he told Strahan that he “would never jeopardize” anything in his life “because he believes the narcissist in me is real,” adding that it wouldn't be “worth it.”
He credits his wife for helping him maintain his balance during those times.

“There's no doubt in my mind that this world is spinning because of her,” he said. “Because of what she does to keep her kids right, and what she does to keep me right, and what we do together to keep it right. There's no doubt about that.”
He continued, “She's definitely not afraid to criticize me about something, but she's also there when I'm down. I'm there for her when she's down. No matter where I've gone in my career, whether it's been up or down.” Landing, we went there together.”

In the book, the “Believe” singer reflected on what she considered the couple's “darkest moment” in their relationship, explaining that they found themselves in a “loveless marriage.” One of the most shocking revelations was that Bono once admitted to her that he was thinking about killing her, after she admitted to him that she had considered sleeping with guitarist Bill.

“You know, after I went with Bill that night in the desert [hotel]“I seriously thought about throwing you off our balcony,” she recalled him saying. He added, she wrote, “I thought I'd plead insanity like Speed Cooley and get seven years in prison before they'd let me go. Then I'd get a book deal and my own show.”
Cher wrote that her response to Bono was that he wouldn't “need to push me because I was going to jump!” She wrote that although she didn't think Bono would push her off the balcony, she was “sure that it crossed his mind.”

The legendary singer also shared that her marriage was on the decline, which led the 26-year-old to contemplate suicide several times.
“I walked barefoot onto the balcony of our suite and stared down. I felt dizzy with loneliness. I saw how easy it would be to step over the edge and simply disappear. For a few crazy minutes I couldn't imagine any other option,” she wrote.
What kept the star from taking the leap was thinking about her mother and sister and the possibility that this would lead to “people looking up to me feeling like it's a viable solution.” Then I came to the conclusion: “I don't have to jump, I can just let go.”
